Pokémon Survivor Burst Regional Forms in Version 4.5

Version 4.5 of Pokémon Survivor Burst added regional forms for currently available Pokémon where they apply, and it named three mid-run forks in the public notes: Kirlia → Gallade, Quilava → Hisuian Typhlosion, and Pikachu → Alolan Raichu. Each fork sits under specific requirements. Those requirements are real. They are not published here as exact numbers, item names, or timers. This page is the roster-side map for those 4.5 branches. It will not invent a dawn-stone ritual, a friendship counter, or a clock the developer did not print.

If you want the shop-and-evolution clock — Kecleon, fragments, Shop Core, Star Pieces — use evolutions. If you want the challenge graph that actually adds portraits to the choose grid, use unlock Pokémon and unlock challenges. Regional forks are not roster unlocks. You still need the base species available. Then the run has to meet the unpublished condition.

Live text belongs on Discord: the official invite. Changelog bullets belong on patch notes. If a friend quotes a main-series method as if this fangame documented it, treat that as fan fiction until the in-run prompt agrees.

What 4.5 actually named

ClessioTV’s 4.5 post does two jobs at once.

First, regional forms exist where applicable on the Pokémon already in the 4.5 roster. That is a blanket feature, not a promise that every species has an Alola or Hisui sprite. “Where applicable” is the limit. This wiki will not invent a regional for a line the patch did not show.

Second, three branches were called out by name with specific requirements:

• Kirlia → Gallade
• Quilava → Hisuian Typhlosion
• Pikachu → Alolan Raichu

Those are evolution forks inside a run, not new starter choices. You do not pick Gallade on a fresh file the way you pick Mudkip. You pick the pre-evolution you already own (or unlock through challenges), play until the game offers the branch, and only then is the regional body the thing you are steering.

The confirmation screen still shows the pre-evolution’s card when you queue. Mudkip’s published lines — Water Pulse, Damp Recovery, HP 112, Speed 2.32 — are a template for how cards look, not the stats of Gallade. When a later species shows different HP or Speed, believe that card. Do not copy the mud fish onto Kirlia, Quilava, or Pikachu and call it research.

Gallade, Hisuian Typhlosion, Alolan Raichu

Treat the three named forks as endpoints, not as menu rows.

Gallade is the Kirlia fork 4.5 bothered to print. Kirlia is not a starter in the published screenshots. You still have to own that line through the challenge loop before a run can even try the Gallade condition. Do not skip unlock challenges and expect Gallade to appear on Choose Pokémon as a day-one portrait.

Hisuian Typhlosion is the Quilava fork. Same rule: Quilava has to be a legal pick first. The Hisuian body is a mid-run branch with a specific requirement, not a Generation sticker you toggle in Options.

Alolan Raichu is the Pikachu fork. Pikachu is a named species in the 4.5 notes; that still does not make Alolan Raichu a starter. Play Pikachu, watch the in-run prompt, and do not import a Thunder Stone recipe from a main-series wiki.

This page will not list a level, a held item, a time of day, or a gender flag for any of the three. The public language is “under specific requirements.” When the game shows a requirement, follow that prompt. When a run never offers the branch, you did not meet the condition — the feature is not missing from your ZIP.

If you are hunting a regional on purpose, pick the pre-evolution you already survive with, play Classic so you have time to see the prompt, and only then try Rush or Tower. Tower’s 4.0 difficulty rework is a poor first laboratory for a branch you have never seen. Endless Mode’s exclusive shop is a worse laboratory if you still do not know whether the fork even fired.

Forks are not unlocks, medals, or shops

Three ladders sit next to each other in 4.5, and players glue them into one rumor.

Roster unlocks add a playable species to the choose grid. Those come from in-run challenges on Pokémon you already have. Sableye’s conditions were fixed in 2.5. Dratini’s unlock was reworked in 3.0. Regional forms did not replace that loop. The walkthrough for the loop is how to unlock Pokémon.

Mode medals are per Pokémon. Classic unlocks Rush for that Pokémon. Rush unlocks Tower for that Pokémon. A Gallade-looking clip on someone else’s save does not gift Rush to your Pikachu. Evolving mid-run does not print a new mode medal for a different line. The 4.5 selector is visible from the start of the game; the medals still have to be earned on the body you queued.

Kecleon still sells permanent upgrades on Shop Core for fragments. Regional sprites do not pay that tree. Endless still has its own shop and currency. Do not expect an Alolan Raichu evolution to stock either counter. Shop rules stay on evolutions.

Star Pieces (version 2.0) remain per-Pokémon collection goals on fighters you own. A regional fork can change how a species plays after you own it. It does not skip the Star Piece on a locked line, and it does not turn a challenge you have not seen into a free portrait.

How to hunt a 4.5 fork without a fake recipe

1. Confirm you are on 4.5. Regional forms are not in 4.0. The patch notes list the three names.
2. Confirm the pre-evolution is selectable. If Kirlia, Quilava, or Pikachu is still a locked portrait, you have a challenge problem, not a regional problem. Use unlock challenges and the in-run pop-ups, not a stone list.
3. Read Details on the confirmation screen so you know the pre-evolution’s actual skill and passive. Do not carry Mudkip’s Water Pulse plan onto Pikachu.
4. Queue Classic. Watch for the in-run prompt. Do not invent a threshold this wiki cannot cite.
5. If the branch never appears, stop copying main-series methods. Ask on Discord with your version number and which pre-evolution you took.
6. After you have seen the fork once, decide whether that body is a tier list experiment or just a sprite you wanted. Public Classic scores are still almost all Mudkip. Regional forks are too new for this wiki to pretend they have a letter grade.

The starters page stays the first-hour pick. Regional forms are a mid-save curiosity for species you already unlocked. A new file that opens the 4.5 selector and hunts Gallade before a Classic clear is practicing the wrong exam.

What this wiki will not guess

We will not publish a 31-row regional table. We will not map every “where applicable” line to an Alola, Galar, Hisui, or Paldea form. We will not translate a Thunder Stone, a Dawn Stone, or a Hisuian item into this fangame because a different game used them. Official programming credits on the patches that got us here are still ClessioTV, Codex, and Luka S.J.; none of those notes printed a recipe this page can copy.

We will keep naming the three 4.5 forks, keep pointing at Discord for live challenge text, and keep sending shop questions to evolutions. When a later patch names another branch the way 4.5 named Gallade, Hisuian Typhlosion, and Alolan Raichu, that name can join this page. Until then, the honest regional list is short on purpose.

Play the pre-evolution. Believe the prompt. Ignore the imported ritual. Ask Discord when the prompt never shows. That is the whole 4.5 regional game, and it is enough to stop a week of guessing.
