Pokémon Survivor Burst Unlock Checklist

Use this page as a loop, not as a stamp album. Pokémon Survivor Burst unlocks content on the Pokémon that earned it, then stores permanent power on the trainer through Kecleon. If you treat the roster like a shared account unlock, Rush stays locked on your second starter and you will swear the game is bugged. It is not. You skipped a box.

This checklist matches version 4.5. Endless exists. Regional forms exist. The mode menu is available from the start. Challenge sentences are not fully printed here on purpose: they move, and ClessioTV’s live text lives in the official Discord. For named targets, use unlock challenges. For who feels good on hour one, use starters. For how a mode actually plays, use the game modes guide.

Tick the boxes in order. Repeating the mode block for each new Pokémon is the entire trick.

1. Install the current ZIP

Grab the Windows build or the macOS/mobile alternative from the download guide, not from a random mirror. Confirm the client is 4.5 on the title screen. If a friend sent you a v3 folder, you do not have Endless, you may not have the 4.0 Tower gate, and this list will lie to you.

Mobile notice from the official thread: that build was not fully tested. If it fails, that is a platform box, not an unlock box. Switch to Windows or macOS before you grind challenges on a client that might not save them.

After any 3.x leftover install, remember the thread’s overwrite rule: keep the Data folder. Wiping Data to “clean install” is how people lose the next box.

2. Name the trainer before the first clear

Player naming shipped in v2.0. The v3.0 compatibility patch exists so that name survives later clients. Set it before you post a score. A nameless run still teaches Classic; it does not teach the leaderboard who you are.

If you already wiped Data, name the new trainer and accept that old ranks belong to the old string. Do not spend an evening matching a ghost score.

3. Clear Classic on the Pokémon you picked

Classic is the tutorial that still counts. Move, auto-attack, pick bonuses, fire Burst, survive. Finish the run on that Pokémon. ClessioTV’s own reply on the thread is the rule: Classic Mode unlocks Rush Mode for that Pokémon. Not for the whole roster. Not for the next egg you unlock tonight.

First-hour habits that save later boxes: learn controls, do not ignore objective pop-ups (those arrived in v3.0), and do not spend your entire brain on a tier list before you have one clear. A finished Classic on a “worse” starter beats a failed Classic on a Reddit pick.

4. Clear Rush on the same Pokémon

Rush is the v2.0 mode. It is faster and meaner than Classic, and it is the gate to Tower. Rush Mode unlocks Tower Mode for the Pokémon that cleared Rush. v2.5 improved Rush; v3.0 improved it again and removed MissingNo from the 15-minute Rush. If you are following a pre-3.0 clip, skip the MissingNo advice.

Stay on the same name you just used in Classic. Queueing a different Pokémon because Rush “looks unlocked” on the menu is the most common way to waste a night. The v4.5 mode menu being available from the start does not mean every mode is available on every Pokémon.

5. Clear Tower on the same Pokémon

Tower arrived in v3.0 with exclusive temporary bonuses and an extra Fragment for a clear. Version 4.0 completely reworked Tower difficulty and the requirements to access it. If Tower is visible but refused, you are probably on a Pokémon that has not finished Rush, or you are looking at a v3 expectation on a 4.0+ gate. Read game modes for the current access language, then try again.

Collect the Fragment. That currency is why Tower sits on a progression checklist instead of a pride checklist.

6. Open Endless after the 4.5 menu makes sense

Endless Mode is a 4.5 addition with an exclusive shop and exclusive currency. It is not Rush with a longer timer. Do not spend Classic fragments in the Endless shop, and do not expect Endless coins to buy the Kecleon core. If the mode is still grey, use the in-game unlock explanation—4.5 added clearer copy on purpose—then confirm on Discord rather than inventing a level requirement this page cannot see.

7. Buy Kecleon cores before vanity upgrades

The Kecleon Shop System is v3.0. It sells permanent upgrades. Temporary bonuses still drop in runs; the shop is the stuff that remains when the swarm despawns. Prioritize the shop core that makes later runs less random—extra bonus quality, extra survivability, extra fragment value—before you buy cosmetics for a Pokémon you have not taken through Rush.

Details and evolution timing belong in the evolutions guide. This box is only: visit the shop after you can afford a core, not after you have “finished the game.” There is no finished the game. There is a stronger tree.

8. Flag the regional evolutions 4.5 actually named

Version 4.5 added regional forms where they apply, and it called three branches out by name:

• Kirlia → Gallade under specific requirements
• Quilava → Hisuian Typhlosion under specific requirements
• Pikachu → Alolan Raichu under specific requirements

Those are flags, not recipes. This checklist will not invent stones, items, or time-of-day rules that the thread did not print. When you have the base Pokémon, look up the live requirement on Discord, then tick the flag. If you do not have Kirlia, Quilava, or Pikachu yet, this box waits. Do not stall Tower on Mudkip because Gallade exists in a patch note.

9. Repeat the mode block for every new unlock

New playable Pokémon come from challenges during runs. The official count is 31. Sableye’s condition was wrong once and got patched in v2.5. Dratini’s requirement was reworked in v3.0. That history is why this page refuses to freeze a full list. After each new name joins the party:

1. Confirm the name on the choose screen.
2. Classic clear on that name.
3. Rush clear on that name.
4. Tower clear on that name.
5. Only then ask whether Endless or a regional form applies.

If you skip steps 3–5 because a best builds page said a later Pokémon is stronger, you will own a grey Rush slot and a strong opinion. Tick the boxes. Then have the opinion.

Print this loop in your head as install → name → Classic → Rush → Tower → Endless purse → Kecleon core → regional flag → Discord for the next sentence. Anything fancier belongs in a guide. Anything more complete belongs in a patch that prints the challenges in the client.
